Solo play in Phantasy Star Online 2

Soloing is a very inefficient way to grind to 60. If you're looking for people to run AQs and MPAs with, there's always Lobby 20. Mind you, lobby 20 isn't the best place to make a home for yourself but there's almost always something going on. Folks will be advertising AQ runs, TACOs of all difficulties and there will always be a party looking for extras when an EQ starts up.
What should you be doing with your money? That's a tough question. Depending on where you are financially, you can invest in the 9-star Unit set for your class and +10 and Affix them (add Abilities). If you can get into some AQs, you can pick up one of the 9-star crafting weapons (Ikutachi, Ishurai, Divlucan, etc.) that convert into 10-stars at the Shiny Stone shop and get your first 10-star weapon via crafting. You can also spend your meseta on EXP boosters to help reduce the intensity of the grind (though boosters come often enough through campaigns and rewards so chances are you already have tons of these).
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT USE ANY TRIBOOSTS UNTIL YOU START DOING AQ's! The reason for this is that enemy density in a fully-manned AQ is very high, so you can reap the maximum potential rewards from Triboosts and rare boosters.
And finally, if you're looking for a group to play with who are at your level, I encourage you to look for and join a team.
