but naruto was already 16 before the war started ~ http://narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/440/7 for some reason i feel like time got warped somehow during shippuden. around chapter 310, which was the first team 7 reunion after part I, weren't they all 15? so that means in order for naruto to be 16 during the pain invasion...at least a year had to pass in those 130 chapters, which encompass the hidan/kakuzu arc and the hunt for itachi arc. and jiraiya's death/naruto's training at myobokuzan. but to me that doesn't seem like that long of a time at all: the hunt for itachi arc can't have lasted more than a month or two - and that's like chapter 344 to early 400's. naruto didn't spend more then a few days training FRS and hidan vs. kakuzu was like a week in total. so unless naruto spent a long-ass time at myobokuzan.
