I�m starting to think imo Madara isn�t that of a bitch stalling Hashirama with just the reason of him being obsessed with the guy, but rather block him because he sees Hashirama�s senjutsu prowess might fuck up Juubito.

I don't think that it's a dark kyuubi. As the chapter mentions in the last page it's a "shadow" or a silhouette of the kyuubi. It seems like this kyuubi has more of a calm demeanor as compared to the one with Naruto. I think it still goes back to the part where the yin and yang of the kyuubi was separated, with the yin being sealed to Naruto.
on the topic of Frog Sage mode, I remember the old man frog while training Naruto in Myoubokuzan stating that the frog statues were of people who tried to master sage mode but failed and turned to stone. Maybe the original person who mastered or wielded sage mode was indeed the Sage of Six Paths. Others tried to imitate but failed and turned into frogs, thus the current state of the Myoubokuzan. I guess that's the main purpose of Tobirama, to explain the history of the Sage mode. After all, from the chapter, it looks like he knows something about the sage mode. When naruto chapter 643 is done, you can visit us again for the next naruto manga.
