I didn't mind the Naruto / Sasuke combo though again Kishi seems to have balanced things out by letting Sasuke being able to regulate his chakra levels to Naruto's using the sharingan. I thought this was Naruto's skill when he distributed the Kyuubi's chakra?

Sweet move by Minato and Tobirama. Minato waits for Sasuke and Naruto to hit them with their technique, then Tobirama pulls Minato, connected with Sasuke and Naruto and their attack to hit Obito faster than he can react. Looks like Obito isn't even in pain though. I can guarantee he ate that attack. Why do you keep saying this? Surely you could just as easily say that Tobirama must have been a hell of a lot stronger than Izuna for Izuna to have to come up with crazy techniques (unless you are to state that Izuna doesn't use techniques?)... It is just none of Izuna's techniques have been shown. Also, who says that Tobirama made up his techniques to counter Izuna specifically? - the statement is invalid.

Another interesting thing is that Obito is tanking that attack like it was some minor inconvenience for him while forgetting he can become intangible and Kakashi is too tired to do anything meaningful against him.

Always love chapters with Naruto and Sasuke doing things together. I wonder how much time is still needed for Kurama to gather chakra in order for Naruto to go in FRM... The last panel with them both smiling is too awesome. The situation with Sasuke is probably gonna have a happy ending and I'm fine with it. I liked this chapter - Tobirama is a beast in a different context compared to Hashi.. That combo at the end, the distraction, the swapping of places (which I still don't understand fully) was epic. I agree Tobirama was the real star of the show! I am with everyone who said Kishi didn't have to give Tobirama the same tech as Minato and to even claim that the tech was originally his...for me Minato's (and I am not a Minato fan - I think he is ok) creativity is being lessened the more this manga goes on

Minato was already praised by Kurama himself for his wicked sealing jutsu which are Uzumaki sealing jutsus. I don't get how people almost every time just say Minato has Hiraishin and Ransengan. He is a sealing jutsu specialist. It was already shown.

Yet back to the chapter. I enjoyed the chapter and all and even though the 2nd admitted Minato is quicker, I feel like Kishimoto is making the 2nd a copy of Minato. Minatos abilities, espacially FTG jutsu were shown first in manga and now somehow the 2nd uses it too. I mean, he already had his wicked water jutsus (where are they now anyway??) and the Edo Tensei. Tobirama is by all means the guy with a Cheat Text Book he wrote while debugging whichever engine runs the Naruto world. This goes a long way in explaining how he defeated Izuna, who was taken for Madara's equal. So far, Izuna must have been a hell lot stronger than Tobirama for the latter to come up with crazy techniques like Edo Tensei and Hiraishin just to keep up the pace the Uchiha brothers of old kept throwing at the Senju bros.

I don't think any mark swapping took place. Strictly speaking, Minato and Tobirama did switch places, only Tobirama took Obito with him when he swapped. Of course, when you think about the tiniest details, if the swapping were precise, Tobirama should've been the one in the path of the enton-empowered Rasenshuriken (since he's the one with Minato's mark), with Obito a little further forward.

Don't worry, it was just temari who overhype shikamaru. Well, as you know, she's one of shikamaru's love interest. Shikaku and shikamaru are nothing in front of this ninjas. Their strategy and tactics are almost useless to the hokages, madara, juubito, naruto and sasuke. Both of them are clueless on what kind of opponent they had right right. They don't know anything on the rikudou's power, uchiha's power, senju's power and the uzumaki's power. Shikamaru didn't know that any of his strategy and tactics right now are futile. He really don't know that what's happenening in the battlefield is beyond of his knowledge.

Trump card madara is the obvious thing everyones leaning towards, also everyone knows the kyuubi boost part, since minato said about a present, it'd be cool if it was something completely different but i doubt it. How about since sasuke and naruto are actin buddy buddy this chap, Since itachi protected the village from the shadows with no credit maybe sasuke will learn from it and sacrifice himself and get hit for naruto then he gives naruto his eyes and obito sees this and immediately thinks back to when he did that with kakashi. Then naruto awakens rinnegan because its both dna and becomes the sage of 6 paths and is the revolutionary that leads the world to great peace like in the great toad sages future he saw for jiraiyas pupil.

I seriously don't understand what's going on with this manga anymore. Anyway, I think neither Sasuke or Naruto will become hokage. I think Kishimoto-san is subtly telling us that he will make Shikamaru the hokage. Naruto and Sasuke will probably live like hermits, protecting Konoha and the ninja world by traveling. This statement was just fanservice for Shikamaru fans. Kishimoto always throws a "but he would be an even better candidate for hokage" bone. Normally he forgets about it after one chapter though. Like Sakura being "equal" to Sasuke and Naruto.

the rinnegan can easily repel and absorb all ninjutsu so their efforts are futile. The only way to defeat obito is through sealing. The 5 kages will do a combo sealing jutsu or I think oonoki will sacrifice himself and seal obito in the earth kind of how the rikudo sealed the juubi body in the moon.

But as you know, madara can summon his meteor or he can just slice everything while using his perfect susanoo's sword. And I'm pretty sure you know exactly how powerful the perfect susanoo's sword really is. Just one slice, it can destroy everything. Juubito can use his bijuudama to the alliance to provoke naruto. The thing is, right now, the alliance could become the weakness to the hokages, naruto and sasuke. Juubito and madara knows that. Just had to comment about this chapter! Jubito will obviously survive the Enton/Rasenshuriken combo and the only attack strong enough to kill / seal him will be either Naruto fully powered up (nine tails power from his dad + some combo with Sennin energy) like when he spoke with Nagato and Konan just 1000x times stronger, OR Sasuke's Sword of Totsuka, OR some trump card from Madara that will create some sort of opportunity to defeat Jubito. Your thoughts?

I can't imagine why shikamaru even said that they, as a powerless shinobi can even change the future. I think he's just dreaming or desperate. After everything he seen on what the juubi/obito and madara was capable of, he still firmly believe that they can still help the hokages, naruto and sasuke.

So if there's some ninja in the alliance who'll be caught with the enemies jutsu and died, t'was shikamaru's fault. He just acting so cool, and yet he didn't know that what he said to the alliance is some sort of a suicide. He wants them to stay put while waiting for a chance, if they can get it before madara and juubito keep using their powerful jutsu. I thought he's a freaking genius. But right now, he's more than a moron and stupid.

Sasuke once more protected Naruto (or tried at least) at the beginning of the chapter, while Naruto was just standing there doing nothing but watching the bomb go. people are making things more confusing than they need to be, in the last chapter minato was pretty damn pissed his seal was gone and obito could not be caught in his new stage, this new jutsu could be used with anything with his seal or a similar space time seal like the 2nd who he got the jutsu from, this was not the case of both of them doing ftg at the same time, it was a simultaneous swap which we all though might be part of him and I guess the 2nd jutsu. it not a case of the 2nd ftg to minato as that would defeat the purpose of a swap

Both of them just shouted the name of their combo jutsu, then minato just added the ''aka shakuton''. As you know, the aka is the abbreviation of 'also known as'' Tobirama and minato : hiraishin goshun mawashi no jutsu. Minato : also known as ''shakuton kourin shippuu''. So basically, hiraishin goshun mawashi and shakuton kourin shippu are just the same. That is exactly what I said, though I see now where my wording might have been confusing. By "Tobirama is switched with Obito", I meant to say Tobirama is switched with Obito in the sense that they are together.

Really? I thought both minato and tobirama used/said the hiraishin goshun mawashi, and then minato just added the ''AKA shakuton kuorin shippuu''. So the word ''aka'' is an indication that minato just said his own version name of tobirama's jutsu. Am I wrong?

He was saying the same name of the jutsu that he said right here. 3 of the words were the same: Kourin, Shippu, and Shakuton. So yes, you're wrong. He wasn't saying the name of his own jutsu, nor Tobirama's jutsu. He was saying the name of Sasuke and Naruto's. Hiraishin lets you teleport along with w/e you are touching. The purpose of Tobirama touching Obito is so that he can teleport to Minato WITH him. Minato hiraishined to Tobirama's tag and Tobirama hiraishined along with Obito to Minato's tag, thus completing the swap. Minato and Tobirama+Obito exchanged places.

Think about it, if Minato and Tobirama swapped places, then that would put Tobirama in front of Naruto/Sasuke and Minato behind Obito. It seemed to me like Minato and OBITO swapped places. Earlier in the chapter (page 2), Tobirama says he put a mark on Obito. He probably did some technique that just switches one with a mark with the other.

This chapter was just great. It really felt like the old Naruto I know and love. I loved seeing the 2nd get upset that the 4th is getting credit for his teleport jutsu. From the 2nd/4th team up to Sasuke/Naruto teamup I found that to be pretty kickass. And although the Madara/1st fight was just breezed over, it is a fight we've seen so many times I wonder if it would feel like Kishi was just stalling. Question: � When the Ameratsu ball and the Rasengan ball combined, was that Sasuke's doing? There's a frame where it focuses on his eye. Wasn't sure on that.

Both Minato and Tobirama teleported at the same time, changing spots. It was a two person technique. Tobirama even says that they're not using clones, they're using their own bodies. And the only reason Minato said a different name for the technique is to distract Obito into thinking he was commited to attacking him from behind. That's why once the teleportation was finished his words were only just now coming out.

Minato, Obito, and Tobirama are the only ones with tags on them. Sasuke and Naruto don't. They aren't teleporting. The order is this: Minato teleports behind Obito and starts his "attack" (the jutsu he named, but never intended on using). Obito moves away, thinking that Minato was trying to hit him in his back. Minato wasn't. Tobirama places a tag on Obito who's distracted (actually, he likely just used the tag that was already on him.) After that, at the exact same time, Minato (who's already been hit) teleports while Tobirama teleports (holding onto Obito brings him with him). Because Minato and Tobirama used the technique at the same time, instead of one of them just going next to the other, they both teleport to where the tag was originally.

I think what you mean is a genuine teamwork of minato and tobirama. Naruto and sasuke's attack was useless to begin with. But due to minato and tobirama's ability/teamwork, that useless attack becomes dangerous.

It was a good chapter, the acknowledgement by Temari that Shikamaru would make a good Hokage is the second time someone has said that about him. I'm wondering if that's foreshadowing something. And in all honesty as stupid as it sounds the only difference there seems to be between Minato and Tobirama's Hirashin is Minato uses Kunai. Because he had another name for that combo jutsu. For tobirama it was ''hiraishin goshun mawashi no jutsu. But for minato he named that as '' shakuton kourin shippuu. Yea, that's an indication that minato has that ability.

It will be ridiculous if no damage occurs from that sick as fuck double element rasengan. If he avoids it with his MS i hope kakashi hits him during it, or if he avoids it all the way then kakashi will have to come back and use his kamuis to land hits like we started off. That was actually a really cool move between 2nd/4th i didnt expect it. he even says you guys are the main stars, basically sasuke/naruto are the strongest living players in this fight. i'd like to see indication saying naruto/sasuke suprassed 1st hokage and madara.

Obito survives his counter in an instant by turning using some of his floating chakra orbs to form a protective bubble. Once more, Minato preps to create an opening with his teleportation jutsu, though he gets interrupted this time as well by Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke tests the waters with an Amaterasu which Obito easily blocks. But he and Naruto follow up with a combination jutsu that joins his Amaterasu wit Naruto�s Rasen Shuriken. At the same time, Minato and Tobirama begin their teleportation dance.

First up is Tobirama who disorients Obito by seemingly appearing from behind to attack and instead teleporting him away from Naruto and Sasuke�s impending attack. Minato appears to take the attack in Obito�s place, but the second he takes damage and the attack�s unavoidable, he switches place with Tobirama who�s still in contact with Obito.

The chapter ends with Sasuke and Naruto landing a successful hit on Obito and Tobirama and smiling at their victory.
