If Madara was revived with Rinnegan though, he'd be the sole or main contradiction to this assumption.

he knew the exact location of the seal on his body. if he can keep track of when tobirama vanishes, or feel his presence due to changing air pressure behind his neck, he can easily trade blows with tobirama.

actually even if hiraishin does not make sound, i still doubt it, the moment the caster arrives a certain spot, he replaces a volume of air as large as his body. this should cause at least a very mild but noticeable breeze, as if you are feeling someone's breath on your neck. jyuubito is fast and durable, without plot armor he could have already won the battle. tobirama and hashirama seems very knowledgeable about rikudo sage. his jutsus and great senjutsu animal kingdoms. maybe there is a senju tablet that can only be read when a special high quality senju chakra is injected I love how kishi made naruto do a rasengan attack on obito that is so similar to his dad 16 years ago. Won't the dark half the kyuubi be even harder for naruto to control or will kurama turn naruto's dads kyuubi (dark hatred side) to a more positive side? .

unlike Kyuubi's Chakra which can be actually considered to be similar to a normal person chakra (i.e., a person own spiritual/inner strength), though in Kyuubi's case the difference is pretty high, but it can be actually countered/matched by an output of similar strength. However, Senjutsu on the other hand requires special training just in order to properly utilize it. So, Sasuke who doesn't have any known form of training in the arts of Senjutsu might actually create a problem if he used his normal untrained chakra along with Naruto's Natural Chakra. What if obito already casted infinite tsukiyomi and everyone was already under genjutsu, with the only unaffected shinobi being kakashi because he was in the other dimension? his KB should also retain Senjutsu properties (same goes for Rasengan). This applies on all aspects, as Sage Mode boost each individual capabilities of the user (be it physical abilities or chakra based abilities or sensing based abilities).

Love the chapter! That last part actually made me giddy.

A few things:

1. Where the heck is Sarutobi?
2. It is possible that since the Kyuubi is split in "half" that there's a chance that he's having slow progress in molding chakra. and I think that's the reason why Kyuubi mode is incomplete as well.
3. As someone pointed out earlier, this is probably a preview of the roots of Senjutsu, possibly coming from the Sage of Six Paths himself. I wonder how the other Sage modes fit in to the equation though.
4. As I mentioned in the previous chapter, it seems that Kishi is leveling down Minato from the joke that is the thrice-called, but failed techinique of his to him being stepped down by his own pupil. And now that the other half of the Kyuubi is being introduced, looks like Minato can truly be at peace knowing that his son grew up well.

Naruto and Hashirama are going to have a field day. at least I hope so. I don't think he used the regular rasengan before. It was the rasenshuriken as I recall and it was combined with sasukes amaterasu.

I won't say that Kurama has good/evil side actually. I would say that it has Dark/Light sides which can also be considered as the Physical/Spiritual sides. When taking account of stories based on some eastern cultures, the definition of Darkness & Light or Evil & Good changes a lot. We have to keep in mind that in the western culture, Darkness most of the time only mean Evil, but that's not the case with Eastern cultures. So, unless we definitely have prove that Kurama had a Evil side, we should say that it has a evil or good side. Well most likely its like that because, any jutsu used in Sage Mode becomes a part of the Senjutsu techniques (even if the amount of Senjutsu chakra utilized to execute a jutsu is almost negligible).

The second half of Kurama's chakra is soon to be handed over to Naruto. At least Naruto showed that he is capable of thinking things through and analysing an opponent, the only other person who noticed is Tobirama. Considering the importance of senjutsu, and the sudden reappearance of Kurama's second half, it seems as though we're going to see chakra mode and sage mode combined sometime soon.

So for Kurama and the other bijuu there's a good/evil side? I'm rather lost regarding that aspect, if the other half of Kurama is still him then why make it more mysterious? Suddenly Kurama became Ichigo Kurosaki, that's the impression it gave me.

I'm quite impressed seeing the vulnerable side of Minato considering he's always been put on a pedestal as one of the perfect shinobi, but disappointed at the same time since he was made a complete fool ever since he got his arm ripped off. I mean, seeing all the kage-bunshins by his predecessors wouldn't that give him an idea to do the same? Btw so is it safe to say Hiruzen is a done deal? What we know now from what Obito destroys doesn't regenerate and this did happen to him

He will give the other half to Naruto eventually before he dies. Naruto has the Yang Chakra, but not the yin. If minato gives him the yin part, he will have a complete Kyuubi, and im sure now he has all chakra of the tailed beasts inside him will be able to become the hermit 2.0.

On another note no one can say senjutsu is a loop hole since it existed before ninjustsu. Ninjustus using arts from within whereas senjutsu was using arts from nature. I have no doubt the sage himself used senjutsu but then due to the teachings of "chakra" made it into the weaker ninjutsu. looks like the series will be pushing well into 2014, as there will probably be another 19 or so chapters this year and that most likely won't cover obito, madara, orochimaru and sasuke.

So, in a way this chapter present a possibility that the reason Rikudou was able to defeat the Juubi (a being made up of Natural energy) and seal it inside himself, is most likely because he was actually a practitioner of Senjutsu himself (before he became the Jinchuuriki of the Juubi).

It used to be though and I miss that aspect. It was a tactical aspect to fighting with hand seals and when that was removed it imo turned a bit too much in the directino of Dragon ball. In Full Metal alchemist Edward is held in high regard due to his ability to bypass the traditional way of performing alchemy. Itachi was a one hand seal user and that was at one time impressive. Now it just seems like he wasted his time. I wish Kishi never stepped away from the hand seals.

I am glad that I picked up on the non-regenerating Minato in the last chapter. Hopefully this means that the Edo-tensei may start to fight as they did in real life and not feel that they can just tank anything (with the safety of being able to regenerate later). What I do wonder is, when Tsunade and the Kage's arrive (as they will probably do), will her healing Ninjutsu work to recover Minato's arm? Can you 'heal' edo-tensei zombies? I am glad that Naruto will be able to use his frog kata in this fight. I do feel a bit worried for Sasuke though - perhaps now he will show that he has been learning snake sage techniques? I doubt it, as he did seem quite shocked by Kabuto's, but I do want Sasuke to have a good role in this fight. I am not sure I like the prospect of Sasuke as a snake sage though.

The Cursed seals has Senjutsu chakra so maybe he will rebrand or something.I'm just speculating anyway but its the best bet If Sasuke is to remain in the game.

it seems like minato might realize that naruto has surpassed him in many ways and may end up giving him the kyuubi quicker, especially if his edo tensei wont regenerate. Wonder if hell be able to make the signs to do it since he only has 1 arm i'm sure something will happen soon. maybe Kabuto will finally return. Itachi already set him up for a heel-face turn, so he'll probably get a final hero moment. He could presumably use the Demon Twin technique he got from Sakon and Ukon together with his Sage Mode to transfer the power into Sasuke's body. Or Orochimaru could perhaps do the same, if he absorbed those powers from Kabuto along with his own genetic material. I'm wondering the same. Just because it hasn't been explained before doesn't mean it's a retcon or contradiction. Also regarding the chapter I am glad that it was a frog that figured out how to pierce the armor of Obito and not some edo kage or even Naruto. Kurama having his personality split in two was a bit odd, nothing suggested that before but hey, got to move the plot along some how.

Naruto's Sennin Mode is always limited by the amount of nature chakra he can control because of his own chakra pool. If he takes Kyuubi's chakra pool for that Obito can start crying again.

It's nice to see that Naruto's battle instincts actually really grew. He kind of realized the Senjutsu weakness quite quickly (I guess the Second was still quicker). The chapter was actually pretty nice. What is actually quite funny is the fact that Obito is probably the only one who can get rid of Madara (yet. Probably Naruto or Sasuke will get to learn that Ninjutsu negating power), while on the other side Hashirama with his probably superior Senjutsu mode could clean the floor with Obito. I think we probably need a Jiraiya Edo Tensei at last as soon as minato wasn't regnerating i began to think that they were in a genjutsu world already, it'd be an interesting development but also you'd think it meant game over. What if they kill obito then the final chapter is like co-kage naruto sasuke everyone happy in the village but then at the end when u look at the moon its got that tuski no me red sharingan look all over it.

Naruto 643 Spoiler - The Shadow Within

The naruto 643 chapter starts off with a recap of the damage Naruto and Sasuke's combined attack did to Obito. And it seems it was rendered useless because Obito comes out unharmed, and all his little Black Particle balls come back to him, almost like a magnet. And then he kind of fans the fires away with his Jinchuuriki cloak it would seem.

Even in the midst of failure Tobirama is analyzing every little thing. He's starting to become my favorite Hokage. The first thing to note is that Minato's Edo Tensei arm isn't regenerating. And Tobirama then goes on to warn Minato that if he gets hit by Obito like that again he'll die once more and never return, his Edo Tensei will be finished...that makes me wonder what happened to Sarutobi...he took a direct hit to the face with that black particle stuff earlier.

Anyway, the reason why his arm can't regenerate is because Obito is using a technique that renders all Ninjutsu useless. It's called "Onmyoudon" according to the Mangapanda translations. And this mythical tecnique, or Obito's 'Black Particle technique' seems to be the root of it, whatever it touches turns to dust according to the Third Hokage:
